SATSUMA, Fla. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is looking for a registered sex offender who has seemingly disappeared, according to a release from Capt. Johnny Greenwood.
No one has seen 37-year-old Dwight S. McDaniel since he was at his home on Summit Road back on Jan. 31, though Greenwood said it was possible that someone saw McDaniel crossing the Dunns Creek Bridge carrying a backpack.
The Florida Sex Offender Registry shows that McDaniel was charged with sexual battery and false imprisonment in Volusia County in Oct. 1991.
Greenwood described McDaniel as being six feet tall and weighing around 154 pounds. McDaniel has black hair and brown eyes.
