JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Gov. Rick Scott is working double duty today as both the Governor and as a sailor at Naval Air Station Jacksonville.
He worked security at the main gate early this morning, before going to the galley and eating breakfast with the sailors.
"It really is important to watch and learn what other people are doing and how they 're leading their lives and how they're helping build the state, build jobs in the state," said the governor this morning.
Governor Scott also participated in the station's Flag Raising Ceremony this morning.

After that, the Governor visited various sailors at work, including mechanics and military dog handlers to learn what they do each day.
It's part of his plan to bring jobs to Florida, and he touted Florida's many opportunities to draw people.
"We should always be a great tourism state," he said. "We have a great agriculture industry. We ought to have a lot more shipping. JaxPort is a big opportunity for our state...Jacksonville in particular ought to be a big-time shipping capital for the country."
