Des Moines, Iowa (Sports Network) - Drake University will name former
Nebraska-Omaha assistant football coach Brad McCaslin as its new defensive
coordinator, according to a report Tuesday.
Footballscoop.com first reported the hiring.
McCaslin spent 14 seasons at Nebraska-Omaha, holding various titles, including
defensive coordinator and assistant head coach.
Nebraska-Omaha dropped football last year as it moves from Division II to
Division I.
McCaslin was a wide receiver for Hastings College from 1990-94.
Under head coach Chris Creighton, Drake finished 9-2 and shared the Pioneer
