Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Rory McIlroy begins his second stint atop the world rankings this week after Luke Donald failed to finish in the top eight at the Heritage.

Donald needed the high finish to stay at No. 1, but a tie for 37th at Harbour Town dropped the Englishman to second. Lee Westwood, Masters champion Bubba Watson and Hunter Mahan remained in their places.

Martin Kaymer tied for seventh at the Malaysian Open and inched up one to sixth. Steve Stricker fell one to No. 7, while Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Justin Rose rounded out the top 10.

Adam Scott held on to 11th, but Louis Oosthuizen, who won the Malaysian Open just a week after his playoff loss to Watson at Augusta National, vaulted up seven to 12th.

Oosthuizen's good friend Charl Schwartzel, Webb Simpson and Matt Kuchar each dropped one to polish off the top 15.

Dustin Johnson and Jason Day switched places this week with the American 16th and the Australian down to 17th. Graeme McDowell sank three to No. 18 and Bill Haas dipped one to 19th. Keegan Bradley kept the 20th spot.

Carl Pettersson earned his fifth PGA Tour title Sunday at the Heritage and shot up 33 to 35th.
