JACKSONVILLE, Fla - The University Christian wrestling team is gearing up for this weekend's state series in Lakeland.
That's where many believe the Christians Josh Fox will win the state championship in his weight class.
Fox, who's 40-1 this season and the face of UC's wrestling has received lots of attention not just for his wrestling skills but for his socks.
Fox has been wearing what he calls different styles of Dr. Seus socks since his sophomore season.
The senior wrestler says he stole the idea from his mentor and friend Kyle Mills.
Mills wore the stylish socks in a win over Fox a few years ago.
Coach Dave Galyan says Fox's teammates like the idea and several of them are now wearing the socks.
Fox is currently wearing his Dr. Seus Zig Zag socks, a pair he hasn't lost in all season.
The state series starts Friday 10 a.m. in Lakeland.
