JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A woman was hit and killed attempting to cross the Hart Bridge Expressway this morning.
The woman was trying to cross from the south side to the north side of the expressway near University Blvd. when she was hit by a garbage truck, according to police.
CURRENT TRAFFIC CONDITIONS
The garbage truck was traveling towards downtown when the woman was hit.
Traffic homicide investigators on the scene said charges are pending in the crash.
