COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -- Two men were arrested after methamphetamine was found in their car during a traffic stop Wednesday night.
According to a news statement from the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, around 5:45 p.m., a sergeant stopped a red Honda Civic on northbound Interstate 75 for speeding.
Police searched the vehicle and found a plastic storage container with nearly a kilogram of white, crystalline type substance the sergeant thought could be methamphetamine. A test confirmed it was meth.

The driver and passenger, both from the Atlanta area, vehicle were taken into custody. they had been returning from South Florida.
The street value of the seized methamphetamine is estimated at more than $150,000.
Alan Chung Kuan Dam, 30, of Norcross, Ga., is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held without bond.
Jonathon A. Cardona, 20, of Lawrenceville, Ga., is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held without bond.
