Mayor Brown discussed pension reform at Thursday news conference when asked by First Coast News
NEW YORK -- The third-annual theGrio's 100 list is honoring Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown.
The list honors Black History Month by highlighting the next generation of black history makers and industry leaders who have the potential to make a difference.
Brown is one of 100 others from professional fields, including business, education and politics.
The list was announced today.
"TheGrio's 100 gives us the opportunity to shine a spotlight on individuals that are making a difference today, with the potential to make history in the future," said theGrio Executive Editor David Wilson.
