KENDALL, Fla. -- Authorities say two firefighters suffered smoke inhalation while battling a South Florida brush fire.
The Miami Herald reports the firefighters were taken to Baptist Hospital Tuesday morning.
Officials say the fire started Monday afternoon and they don't believe it was intentionally set. No homes have been evacuated.
Miami-Dade fire spokesman Erik Della Catena says they've set up a perimeter and they are trying to keep the fire away from homes.
He says more than 60 firefighters at the scene on Tuesday.
No further information about the injured firefighters was immediately available.
