Strong-arm Robbery Suspect Strikes Family Dollar

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A robbery suspect from one week ago remains on the loose, and police would like your help finding him.

According to a news release from Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokesperson Melissa Bujeda, the robbery happened at the Family Dollar Store at Main and 16th streets just after 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17.

The suspect, who reportedly did not have a weapon, fled the store on foot after stealing an undisclosed amount of money, Bujeda said in the statement.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, who is said to be around 50 years old, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 240 lbs.
