JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Surveillance cameras have captured images of two suspects police believe are taking money from unsuspecting elderly victims.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, three separate incidents have enough in common that investigators believe they are connected.

In each incident, the well-dressed suspects approached elderly women, identified themselves as bank fraud detectives and displayed gold badges.

In one of the cases, the male shown in the pictures and two other males convinced an 83-year-old woman to go to the bank with them on two separate occasions, saying she had fraudulent activity on her account.

She withdrew, and handed over, more than $4,600 to the suspects.

An 80-year-old woman went through the same procedure, but must have had no money, police believe, because she only completed a balance inquiry and gave the suspects no money.

A 72-year-old woman was reportedly approached by a male and a female who told her a suspect may have hidden money in her house, and they needed to look at her cash to make sure it was not stolen.

She gave the suspects her cash, and they left her home with it.

Police want elderly women to be aware of the fraud, and they want help finding the suspects.
