ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The two suspects believed to be responsible for the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver Monday night are also suspected in two similar robberies within the past month.

According to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, the most recent robbery happened to a Papa Johns driver before 11:30 p.m. Monday.

The victim told deputies he delivered an order to a home on Brevard Street, but nobody was home.

He called the phone number associated with the order, and the person on the other end of the line told him the address had changed, and that the pizza needed to go to a home on W. 4th Street, about a mile away.

When nobody answered at that address either, the driver went back to the store.

The same person called back shortly after that, and asked that the pizza be delivered to an address on West King Street, not far from the second address.

As the driver arrived at that address, he told deputies, two males approached him and asked about the order.

Then, one of the suspects pulled a gun, the victim said, and demanded money while pointing it at the victim.

The driver was carrying a small amount of cash, which he gave to the suspects, along with his phone and the pizza.

The other suspect went through the delivery vehicle, taking a pack of cigarettes and $3, the victim reported.

They both then ran off.

The victim described the suspects as "younger black males," one of whom was about six feet tall, the other shorter.

That description matches two similar robberies and an attempted robbery to a delivery driver in the same general area.

If you know anything that can help detectives find the suspects, call Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477).  You will remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
