NEW YORK (AP) - After hitting Dow 13,000 Tuesday, the market couldn't hold its ground. The key averages finished the Wall Street session mixed.
Even so, it was the first time since May 2008 that the Dow had returned to that benchmark.
By the closing bell, the Dow added 16 points, or 0.1 percent, to 12,966. The S&P rose nearly 1 point to 1,362 while the Nasdaq was down 3 points 2,949.
