FRANKFURT, Germany -- A strike at Frankfurt airport has led to the cancellation of about 20 percent of its flights Monday.
But the airport predicted that most flights would depart OK, despite the walkout by 200 ground workers.
The GdF union strike will continue until 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Most of the cancellations were flights operated by Lufthansa within Europe.
Airport operator Fraport AG said in a statement that slightly longer waiting times can be expected in the terminals.
Lufthansa is listing canceled flights on its website and notifying customers by text message.
