NEW YORK (AP) - Upbeat news about Greece gave Wall Street a small shot in the arm yesterday, easing the fears of some investors. One analyst says "Just some kind of optimism overseas" is going to be encouraging.
The Dow ended the day up 33 points, or 0.3 percent, at 12,878. That's its highest close in almost four years. The S&P 500 gained 2.72 points, or 0.2 percent, to 1,347. The Nasdaq added 2 points, or less than 0.1 percent, to 2,904.
