Erin Hawley joins the First Coast from the Emerald Coast, where she was the weekend anchor and reporter at WMBB in Panama City.

While working on the "World's Most Beautiful Beaches," Erin covered everything from severe weather to a Halloween baby kidnapping.

Erin is from Oxford, Mississippi, where she also attended the University of Mississippi. She began sharpening her journalistic ambitions in college where she managed and reported for the award-winning campus news station.

She has received recognition from the Associated Press, Mississippi Association of Broadcasters and other organizations for her work.

Erin's favorite thing about reporting is meeting new people and learning something new every day. As a U.S. Navy wife herself, she especially enjoys visiting with members of Jacksonville's military community.

In her free time, Erin enjoys spending time outdoors, especially finding new places to kayak in the River City.
